Arriving in Hong Kong by air
Hong Kong International Airport is served by a highly efficient and comprehensive transportation network. You may select any of the following transportation service as your need.
Airport Express Trains
Airport Express is a dedicated airport railway providing fast and reliable service to the passengers. The one-way adult fare from the airport to Hong Kong Island is HK$100. Airport Express trains run every 10 minutes daily from 05:54 to 23:28 and 12 minutes from 23:28 to 00:48. Free shuttle-bus service to major hotels is available for Airport Express users. 1. Take the Airport Express to City. The platform is on the same level as the arrival hall of the Airport.
2. Get off at Kowloon Station.
3. Take a taxi to the PolyU campus. You may wish to show the taxi driver the destination indicated below:

Bus Service from the airport
City Bus provides an efficient bus service from the airport to most of the major hotels in the city. The A11 (HK$40) has drop-off points near the Empire Hotel (Stop 9), Charterhouse Hotel and South Pacific Hotel (Stop 12) while A12 (HK$45) serves the Grand Hyatt (Stop 7). Arriving by train
The University is located next to the Hung Hom train station (exit A).
1. Take the MTR East Rail from Lo Wu station. Get off at Hung Hom Station. Go to Exit A1.
2. Direct access and short walk to the campus (Point L is Library main entrance).
Taxi
Taxi stands are located on the north side of the Ground Transportation Centre. A tropical journey between the airport and Central, Wanchai and Causeway Bay costs about HK$285; and trip to Tsim Sha Tsui the fare is about HK$230. Taxi passengers using the Lantau Link are required to pay an additional toll fare of HK$30 irrespective of the direction of travel, and additional fares are also charged for using toll tunnels. There is an extra charge of HK$5 for each piece of luggage carried in the boot.
